I'm going to do my best to keep a running count of how many times I get whistled at or cat called. Sometimes I'm flattered by the action but overall I find it demeaning. Even more, it doesn't gain my attention in my own country so it's less likely it'll be effective in this one. Add to that the fact that I usually look my grungiest when it happens and that the fact that I am a gringa makes it even less so.
Well, if you all want to put on guesses of what the total will be after one and two years, I'm sure I can figure out a prize that'll will be thoroughly enjoyed :)
